WLRN covered UHealth’s efforts to include patients in the design of the new ambulatory center at Doral and other facilities. The patients informing design are part of a group of volunteers made up of current and former patients of the University of Miami Health System (UHealth) and their families. Soudabeh Eskandari, a senior project manager with UHealth Design and Construction, was the featured expert and explained several areas of the building that were designed based on patient input.
